UK Programme

Our UK Programme is supported by a dedicated army of over 650 volunteers across the UK. Their purpose, working alongside our Volunteer Coordinator and our Workshop and Site Manager, is to provide practical support towards our mission.

This is mainly achieved through working with our volunteers, who provide support in three key areas:

  • tools and equipment activities such as the collection, refurbishment and packing of donated tools and equipment
  • supporting fundraising activities, including attending events and selling unsuitable or surplus tools through online platforms such as EBay
  • supporting awareness activities including, giving talks to local service clubs, schools, etc. to raise awareness of the work of the charity and attracting new support.

All our volunteers carry out invaluable work whether that’s in one of our groups in their local workshops across the UK or our volunteers who head to our HQ in Netley Marsh, Southampton.

If you would like to know more about way you can get involved in our UK programme, please contact Ben Riley our Volunteer Coordinator or phone our office on 02380 869697
