Livelihoods for Empowerment

Tools for Self Reliance has been working in the field of sustainable livelihoods for almost 40 years. In that time, we’ve developed our holistic programming approach to take a broader view of the factors and challenges which contribute to achieving truly long lasting impact for the people we work with.

We believe that partnerships are key to future success, and that there is scope for greater collaboration amongst small NGOs working in this space. We’ve explored how we can facilitate this, and are proposed a formalised network of such organisations – the LifE network, or Livelihoods for Empowerment.

We’re very excited to be launching The LifE Network on Wednesday 25th September 2019.

We have a busy schedule planned for the day with a visitor from Ghana bringing an Africa perspective; a Knowledge Café to talk all things collaboration and impact; an opportunity to reflect on the power paradigm that we find ourselves in, and time to discuss how we can ensure that together, we’re resourced and ready for fundraising in the future.

If you would like to know more about the LifE Network; think it could be beneficial for your organisation to be a part of, or to find out what we have planned for it during 2020, we would love to hear from you.
