Isatu is 32 years old and is halfway through a year-long hairdressing course with our partner Craftshare.
Before she started she said; “I was confused and I didn’t know what to do with my life. I was not in a good place.” Like many girls in Sierra Leone, she was unable to finish her formal schooling and became a victim of child marriage.
But with support, Isatu is overcoming barriers and making a better life for herself and her children. She says “I am useful. I have skills and I have a purpose.”
