Donate tools

Thank you for thinking of us!

We depend on the goodwill of thousands of people like you to donate tools and to give us the money to keep everything moving.

What type of tools do we need?

If you would like to donate tools to us here’s what to do. First check which tools we do and don’t want.

We need quality rather than quantity

We refurbish quality second-had tools to a first class standard. There’s no DIY store down the road for our partners to replace a broken tool. Shipping costs are the same for good or bad tools so we only send the best.

What do you need to do next?

Contact us to find your nearest volunteer tool collector. Alternatively you can fill in our tool donation enquiry form and send or email it back to us.

Organising a tool collection

If you would like to organise a tool collection please contact us first before you do anything further as there are some things you need to know.

There are lots of possibilities. You could for example collect tools for a particular type of toolkit. You could help raise money at the same time, to help pay for shipping and refurbishing costs – it costs £40 to ship a full kit of tools to Africa. A tool and 20p is a good slogan to use.

Please get in touch if you have any questions or are thinking or organising a tool collection.
