How you can support from home

There are lots of ways you can support practical help for practical people whilst you stay home to keep you and your communities safe from coronavirus.

#1 Have a sort out

Although we can’t accept tool donations at the moment, your old tools and sewing machines will be very much needed when we reopen our workshop doors.

So whilst you are at home, why not clear out that cupboard you have been meaning to, sort out your old tool box and get items ready to donate for when the workshops are back up and running.  A full list of hand, power tools, sewing machines and haberdashery items needed is here.

#2 Birthdays

Set up a Facebook fundraiser to support Tools for Self Reliance and bring your family (virtually) together with a zoom call.

#3 Make a gift today

If you are in a position – please make a gift today – your gift  will mean that those who already live in the most challenging of situations under normal circumstances, will have the tools that they need to combat the impact that coronavirus will have on their livelihoods.

Send your gift of support here.

#4 Stay Connected

Although the best thing we can do right now is to keep physical distance – stay connected with us by signing up to receive regular news updates into your inbox. Follow, share, like and tweet us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

#5 Amazon Smile

If you are using Amazon to buy your essentials online remember to choose ‘Tools for Self Reliance’ at the checkout with Amazon Smile. Amazon donates 0.5% of the net purchase price of items eligible at no extra cost to you.

#6 Set up a regular gift

We hugely appreciate that there are lots of people going through an unspeakably difficult time and financial challenges. But if you are in a position to set up a regular gift it will ensure that people will have the opportunities to build sustainable livelihoods.

Send your regular gift here.

Thank you so much for your generous support during this challenging  time.

We can and will get through this together.
