Netley Marsh Infant School pupils discover the value of old tools

Two boys from the Reception Class watching closely as the Tanzania shipment was loaded.

As part of their project looking at how old items can be re-used, Reception Class pupils from Netley Marsh Infant School came to look around our workshops recently to learn about how we refurbish tools and sewing machines. They were shown around the workshop and warehouse, and learnt all about how the tools are sent to help people in Africa.

Two pupils were lucky enough to return a few days later to watch the Tanzania shipment being loaded with a forklift truck, which was very exciting for them.

It’s always lovely to see young people getting inspired by our work, and we look forward to welcoming more pupils next year!
