Bedales students lend a helping hand

Design students from Bedales School enjoyed a visit from Tools for Self Reliance staff over the weekend of 29-30th September.

Girls and boys aged 13-18 gave a helping hand sanding, oiling and sharpening tools to create a kit for a group of carpenters, and were also shown case studies of some of the people whose lives have been transformed by our work in Africa.

We are also extremely grateful to the Bedales design department for their kind donation of three large boxes of various tools, which will provide vulnerable people in rural Tanzania with the opportunity to build a stable future for themselves and their families.
