We need you this October!

Ziblim trained as a tailor in Ghana and can now afford to buy food for her young toddler

Vital summer fundraising events have been cancelled.  Please support our Tea for Tools week to enable tools and skills to reach young people build livelihoods when they need it most.

Join the Tea for Tools week  between 5–11 October by holding a fundraising event for Tools for Self Reliance.

If you can’t host an event but would like to make a small donation – please click here – your kindness will help young people to look forward to the future. 

How do I get involved?

Tea parties will need to adapt this year– maybe you could hold ;

  • Tea and cake at work
  • A cocktail night on zoom
  • Still enjoying virtual quiz nights? Make your next one a Tea for Tools fundraiser!

However you choose to take part, you will be empowering people to change their lives through skills training.

The impact that your Tea for Tools will make is life changing for women like Seidu and Ziblim from Sierra Leone who now use their tailoring skills and sewing machines to earn a living and provide food for their children.
