Equip a tailor
A stitch in time: Equip a tailor
Mary Senya was a single mother with a young son and travelling from her home two hours from Accra, Ghana, into the capital, to sell bags of water Monday to Friday when she heard about the Tools for Self Reliance course in partnership with local organisation Street Girls Aid.
Now Mary has her own stall in the marketplace, and can send her son to school. She can plan for the future, and is looking forward to all she can achieve with her business.
“I can only think of good things for my future.”
A refurbished hand sewing machine is essential for a tailoring graduate to set up their own workshop.
For just £10, you can give someone hope for the future by equipping them today.
