Pro-Link

Pro-Link is one of the leading non-governmental development organisations in Ghana. Its headquarters are based in Accra and they have projects located in Hohoe, Kejebi, and Alflao in the Volta region, Mankessim and Buduburam in the Central region, Pokuase in the Greater Accra region, and Obuasi in the Ashante region.

Founded in 1993, Pro-Link is a non-profit, non-sectarian, non-governmental organization that seeks to ensure equitable development opportunities for the rural and urban poor, especially women and girls. Its mission is to advocate and empower disadvantaged people to improve their health, educational and socio-economic status.

The name ‘Pro-link’ is derived from the ideology that rural populations are also professionals in their own right.

To achieve its objectives, Pro-link’s efforts embrace a broad cross-section of rural development and advocacy issues, including reproductive health and education, HIV/AIDS, child survival, income generation and vocational training, and food security.
