Two intrepid friends have signed up for the ultimate endurance challenge in aid of charities MacIntyre and Tools for Self Reliance.
Not to be confused with Johnny Cash songs, 1961 films and pub drinking games of a similar name, the Ring O’ Fire is a 131 mile ultra marathon around the Isle of Anglesey which takes place over three days between 31 August and 2 September.
If you’re taking part in a sponsored event or if you’re planning a big day, websites like Just Giving and Virgin Money Giving are great ways to publicise it and raise money online. By creating a fundraising page with VMG it’s also really easy to raise money for two (or more) charities at a time.
