Tools for Self Reliance Open Day at Netley Marsh
It would be unfair to say that it rained heavily all day on Saturday 30th June as there were intermittant periods of drizzle… Nevertheless the public came in their hundreds, well-prepared with wellies, mackintoshes and umbrellas and ready to make a great day of it.
Long term volunteer Christian Österby from Denmark and John Beadell are on hand to give visitors a cheery welcome.
Czech Workcamper Andrej Kusnierik and TFSR supporter Edward Read try out some ‘alternative’ rainwear.
Once again the Totton Allotments and Gardens Association were in attendance with their stall of freshly grown goodies. Here they are pictured presenting a much appreciated cheque to CEO Jan Kidd.
Patnership Development Officer Sarah Ingleby and Chair of Trustees Tony Tyrrell give a boost to troops with a nice warming brew!

Dedicated teams of Tools for Self Reliance volunteers braved the mud to man the stall at the Show, which was unfortunately cancelled after only two days.
