They found that the group had bought a plot and built a commercial property which serves as a working space and also as a source of income as it is partly rented out. One of the interviewed members, Musasizi Mark, has bought 5 hectares of land and built a semi-permanent house with 30 iron sheets. It is a sign of the group’s steady development and expansion that from the five original members in 1991, a total of 15 villagers have been trained and have gone on to start their own ventures in private workshops. Goodwill Tailoring currently provides 8 job training opportunities to young people in the village who receive approximately 3500 Ugandan shillings a day.
